Expert Witness Reports

I provide Expert Witness Reports that are suitable for court proceedings, offering independent and impartial assessments. This involves:

• Conducting interviews and assessments to gather relevant information.
• Examining medical records, care and support plans, and other relevant documentation.
• Writing detailed, unbiased and objective reports that comply with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) Part 35.
• Attending court and tribunal hearings to provide oral evidence and answer questions from legal representatives.

Expert witness reports can be necessary for a range of reasons including:

• Preparing reports for SEND tribunals, addressing issues such as a child or young person's special educational needs and the recommended provision of support.
• Assessing an individual's Mental Capacity to make specific decisions, such as those relating to health and social care matters, finance, education, residence or litigation.
• Determining what is in the best interests of an individual who has been assessed not to have the capacity to make a particular decision.
• Assessing an individual's needs for care and support, including identifying the type and level of support required.
